General Guidelines

Animals Online FIlm Festival welcomes short films made by both high cost and low cost video technology (including mobile phones) and edited by any software. Our criteria for evaluating films is based on originality and creativity of the story rather than on money invested in it. We will review your film and if accepted into Official Selection, we will reply to you with a link to your film on AOFF website. Submitted films must be up to 5 min in length. So, if you are talented and creative, just grab any camera or mobile phone, make a film with animals as main actors, edit it as you wish and send us your link to the film!

Our judges will select the films to be featured on our Official Selection page. Every 3 months one film from the Official Selection will receive a symbolic Golden Fur Award as a highest rated film from our panel of experts. The second rated film will receive a Silver Fur Award. Also, the film with the most social media shares in any given month will win the Audience Award. These films will be added to our WINNERS page.

Please use the form below to submit the link to your film.  In the short description section please include the synopsis of the film and any other information you would like added. 

NOTE: Filmmakers are responsible for their usage of restricted or copyrighted material. AOFF is not liable for any copyright material unlawfully used. By submitting your project to the Animals Online Film Festival you retain all rights to your work but agree to allow your project to be shown on our website.
